Hmm, how to describe myself?  This is a toughie.

I’m a Cancer.  Sweet, sensitive, and artistic.  My parents always joked that I was born with a pencil in my hand because when I was younger, you could always find me drawing or doodling.

I was born on 7/7.  I’m told that makes me lucky.

I love art, in all forms.  Paintings, sculptures, drawings, photographs… I can always find awe and inspiration in each and every one.  Even the ones that don’t really make sense to me.

I’m a mom.  That’s my #1 job.  I’m also a wife, of course.  I do my very best in both jobs.  I am not perfect at either of them, by any means.  But I sure do try.

I’m a photographer.  I wanted to be a famous artist my whole life.  Now I will settle for becoming the next Annie Leibowitz.  Big shoes to fill.  I’m not nearly there yet.

I love the “moment”.  When I can capture that one special, fleeting moment in time and you can look at it and say “THAT’S who I am, right at this minute”, it makes my heart sing.

I’m just me.  I don’t know how to be anyone else.  But that suits me just fine.
