March 25, 2010It’s official: my little girl is growing up.
She has her very first “wiggly” tooth!
I can’t believe it. *sigh*
I finally got my hands on some of that super-cool barnwood floor paper,
so I grabbed the girl and snapped a few shots of her on it before that tooth comes out.
For posterity, and all that.
And also ’cause I think she is uber-cute in her v-day jammies.

March 11, 2010Still catching up here…
I took these last weekend while we were up for Marsh Madness. Just a few quick snapshots,
but I plan to try for a few more this weekend when they come down here to visit.
I have a hard time wrapping my brain around the fact that Max is FIVE MONTHS old already!
It seems like just yesterday I was photographing his birth… sigh…
He is so sweet.
He was laughing at me, but as soon as I brought the camera up to snap the photo, he always looked away.
Stinker.
He loves his thumb.
Sidenote: does anyone have any ideas for making a bumbo seat look pretty? He can’t quite sit on his own,
so we tried to use the bumbo. Ah well. In another month or two, he’ll be a pro at sitting and it will be a non-issue.
Love the drool string though. haha.

March 10, 2010I’m kind of jumping around here, time-wise. I hope you’ll bear with me, haha.
My dad bought the boys these GORGEOUS handmade 410 shotguns while he was deployed to Turkey after 9/11.
He keeps them locked up in the gun safe at his house, and we bring them out from time to time while we
are up there visiting. I love that my dad does things like this with my boys {not necessarily the gun part,
I don’t actually care much for guns, but the togetherness part}. It’s stuff like this that they will always remember.
The little things, like shooting Pepsi cans into obliteration with their Papaw Bob.
Kaitlyn, however, apparently shares my feelings about guns. And loud noises at all, for that matter.

{4.months.and.a.mohawk}
March 9, 2010Wow, I have a LOT of catching up to do! I may never get everything posted that I want to post.
I never realized how big a part of me my blog and website were, until they were GONE.
Since I have to start all over, I may as well start with some new{ish} pics of my nephews, Avery and Max.
Avery got a cool new haircut, and Max had his 4-month birthday, so we snapped a few shots to commemorate the moment…
Max is actually FIVE months old now! *eek* He is growing up WAY too fast. Both of them are.
All I can really do with Max right now, pose-wise, is the tummy thing. But he is THISCLOSE to sitting up on his own,
and I have TONS of ideas for that stage! I can’t wait!
Sidenote: Today is my AMAAAAZING hubby’s birthday- I won’t say how old, haha. We had a great day, just hanging out. I love you, Jason!
I’ve missed you guys! I’m so glad to be back!
